(ForUm) - President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko is paying one-day working visit to Romania, president's press office reported.
In the margins of the visit Yushchenko will meet with Romania's President Traian Basescu. The Presidents will discuss bilateral political relations, activity of Ukrainian-Romanian presidential commission, trade-economic and interregional cooperation, cooperation in the sphere of national minorities' rights, European and Euro-Atlantic integration, energy security, etc.
The Presidents will also take part in a ceremony of opening a bridge through Tisa river on Ukrainian-Romanian border, reports Trend.
Moreover, Yushchenko is planned to visit Taras Shevchenko's lyceum in the city Sigetu-Marmaciei and to hold a meeting with Ukrainian community in Maramuresh district.
