Ukraine's prime minister made positive appraisal of Ukrainian-Estonian relations

(ForUm) - The Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych hopes that Ukraine can count on support of the Government of Estonia concerning questions on energetic policy and provision for diversification of sources of energy supplies, within the framework of the dialogue among Ukraine, the EU and Russia. Yanukovych told during today's meeting with Estonian colleague Andrus Ansip, the ForUm's correspondent informs.

I also wanted to stress that we are glad with dynamic of development trade-economic relations and cooperation between Ukraine and Estonia in 2006, Yanukovych said, adding that economic rates show the growth turnover between the countries.

Export and import increase and I hope we will create equal conditions of trade-economic relations, having kept balance between import and export, the PM said.

He also noted that the Ukrainian-Estonian committee should create all necessary conditions for business development between these countries, reports Trend.

Yanukovych also said that Ukraine appreciates Estonia's support on preservation of Ukrainian national culture.
