Ukraine's prime minister to leave for Davos

(ForUm) - The Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych will be the head of Investment committee created under the Cabinet of Ukraine. The vice Prime Minister Dmytro Tabachnyk told today at the briefing in the Cabinet, the ForUm's correspondent informs.

He noted that Yanukovych will leave for Davos to meet with leading economists of the world not only as the Prime Minister but also as the head of the investment committee.

According to Tabachnyk, work of the investment committee should be aimed at improvement of Investment legislation and at creation of investment climate in the country, reports Trend.

Investment protection is one of the objectives of the national policy of the Cabinet of Ukraine…Creation of such committee is political, economic and positive sign and signal for investors. Their work will be supported on the high level, he noted.

The vice Prime Minister said that Investment committee will be advisory- deliberative body. It does not limit any investor to work within the legislation only through the committee, Tabachnyk explained.
