(www.for-ua.com) вЂ" Tug-of-war between the President and the Prime Minister of Ukraine can slow down not only reforms in the country, but the process of European integration as well. Former President of Poland Aleksandr Kwasniewski declared speaking at a roundtable in the Fund of Marshal.
As radio Svoboda informed, Kwasniewski pointed out that Polish political advisors might be of use to Ukrainian leaders in the new political system, reports Trend.
As a reminder, during the orange revolution in Ukraine in 2004, Kwasniewski initiated the roundtable between the power and the opposition. After negotiations the Verkhovna Rada adopted compromised changes to the Constitution of Ukraine. According to the former president of Poland, that compromise helped to avoid split of Ukraine.
