The two leaders spoke about how to develop Ukraine's ties with Tajikistan, particularly in the energy sector, reports Trend.
Yushchenko and Rahmonov agreed to work out a cooperation plan for 2007-2008.
The Tajik leader asked Ukraine to help his republic better patrol its borders in order to fight terrorism, drug trafficking and illegal migration.
Yushchenko invited his colleague to visit Ukraine.
