(ForUm) - In October 2007 the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly will consider question on continuation or stop of monitoring concerning Ukraine. The co-reporter of PACE committee on observance of obligations by the states-members of Council of Europe Hanne Severinsen told during today's meeting with the chairman of the VRU Olexander Moroz in Kyiv.
Severinsen expressed the hope that the process of reforming of court system in Ukraine will be activated soon.
In his turn, Moroz informed that the parliament will consider the draft bill that will make it impossible to use court system as an instrument for illegal actions.
In the scope of the meeting, issue on corruption in Ukraine was discussed. Moroz noted that the VR works on legislative provision for banning corruption.
He noted that the VR intends to ratify the European convention on criminal responsibility for corruption.
