( Cihan ) - Iraqi Vice President Tariq al-Hashimi has arrived in Turkish capital Ankara to meet top Turkish officials.
Hashimi, who arrived in Ankara via Istanbul, was welcomed on Monday at the airport by Ankara Governor Kemal Onal and Ahmet Davutoglu, chief advisor of Turkish premier.
During his visit to Turkey, Hashimi will meet Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul. He will also be received by President Ahmet Necdet Sezer.
