Ukraine prime minister intends to increase pensions without president

( ForUm ) - The Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych charged the Labor and Social Policy Ministry to provide pensions since July 1 as the President has not signed yet the law on changes introductions to the state budget that foresees salaries and pensions raise since July 1. The Mykhaylo Papiyev the Labor Minister told today at the briefing in the Cabinet.

"Dead line to sign this law by the President was over on May 19," Papiyev said.

Papiyev informed that such pension and salaries increase will reach 17 million of citizens, including 12 million of pensioners, one million of disable people and 3.5 civil workers.
