( ForUm ) - President Victor Yushchenko on Monday signed nine laws to facilitate Ukraine's WTO accession:
Law no. 1104-V on Changes to Article 26 of the Law on the Safety and Quality of Food Products;
Law no. 1105-V on Changes to the Law on Changes to the Law on Export Duties on Ferrous Scrap Metals;
Law no. 1106-V on Changes to the Law on Export Duties on Alloy Steel Ferrous Scrap Metals, Non-Ferrous Scrap Metals and Semi-Finished Products Containing Such Metals;
Law no. 1107-V on Changes to the Law on Standards, Technical Procedure Rules and Correspondence Evaluation Procedures;
Law no. 1108-V on Changes to the Law on the Rules of Foreign Currency Transactions;
Law no. 1110-V on Changes to the Law on Changes to the Law on Insurance;
Law no. 1111-V on Changes to Some Legal Acts of Ukraine on Copyright Regarding the Implementation of the Requirements for Ukraine's WTO Accession;
Law no. 1112-V on Changes to the Law on Value Added Tax Regarding the Taxes Imposed on Agricultural Producers;
Law no. 1113-V on Changes to Article 2 of the Law on Export Duties on the Seeds of Some Varieties of Oil-Bearing Plants.
These laws were adopted on May 31 as part of Victor Yushchenko's deal with Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych and Parliament Speaker Oleksandr Moroz to defuse the country's long-lasting political crisis, President's press office reported.
