( AP ) - A Hamas radio station in the Gaza Strip reported what it said was an Israeli air strike on a vehicle east of Gaza City Wednesday morning. The report did not mention casualties and gave no details of the presumed target.
Earlier, Palestinian hospital officials said a man and a child were killed in the same area by what appeared to be an Israeli tank or artillery shell.
The Israeli military spokesman's office said it was checking both reports.
