Landslide, floods kills four in Turkey
Two people died in a landslide in northern Turkey caused by heavy rainfall on Wednesday, and one person was killed by floods, Reuters reported according to the state Anatolian news agency and Turkish TV.
The bodies of a 65-year old woman and her son were found by rescue teams in a house buried in the landslide in the province of Ordu.
Turkish TV said one person was killed and eight people were missing in floods in Artvin province on the Georgian border.
Paramilitary troops were sent to the area to help as two-hour long heavy rainfall destroyed two bridges and damaged property.
