The number of the pupils infected with swine flue has reached 16 in the primary school of the Turkish Ankara city, the Turkish Health Ministry reported, Anadolu news agency said.

The number of the pupils infected with swine flue has reached 16 in the primary school of the Turkish Ankara city, the Turkish Health Ministry reported, Anadolu news agency said.  

On Oct.14, swine flue (A/H1N1) case has been revealed in three pupils in the primary school in Ankara, the Turkish CNN Turk TV channel reported earlier.

First A/H1N1 virus was revealed in a pupil coming from abroad. Then the examination of other pupils reveled two more pupils were infected with virus, the same source added.

Turkey has revealed 504 students infected by "swine flu", director of the Influenza Study Center of the Istanbul Medical University Selim Badur said earlier.

So far, the center examined 2,665 students, Badur added. Spread of the "swine flu" among students has caused anxiety among the population, and the relevant agencies are holding

The lessons were postponed for one week in the school of Ankara where the swine flue case was revealed, the Turkish CNN Turk TV channel reported.
