A 37 year-old woman died from swine flu on Thursday in the central province of Konya, Turkish Health Ministry said, Anadolu reported.
The ministry said the number of deaths from the H1N1 strain rose to three after Thursday's fatality. The ministry reported earlier in the day that a 34-year-old woman swine flue patient in the southeastern city of Diyarbakir.
The ministry said 1,411 people tested positive for swine flu in Turkey since May 15, 2009 as 16 of them are currently being treated in hospitals.
Three of them are in critical condition.
