Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyib Erdogan will be vaccinated against swine flue, CNN Turk reported.   

The number of victims of the swine flue has reached 9 people, the Turkish Health Ministry said, the Turkish Anadolu news agency reported.

On Nov.2, a 4-year old girl in Shanliurfa and a 13-year-old girl in Istanbul died of the A/H1N1 virus. A 65-year-old woman from Ankara also became a victim of the virus whose death was the ninth in a row.

The first case of death from swine flu was recorded in Istanbul on Oct.24.

Turkish Health Minister Recep Akdag said that the country has revealed more than 1,800 cases of swine flue. The minister also confirmed that the number of cases is considerably more.
