The Turkish foreign minister will travel to Syria on Tuesday, Anadolu reported.
Turkey's Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will meet his counterparts in the Syrian capital of Damascus on the sidelines of the Turkish-Arab Cooperation Forum.
Davutoglu is expected to hold talks with Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Mualem, Arab League's Secretary General Amr Moussa and foreign ministers of other participating Arab countries.
Diplomats of Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Libya, Qatar, Sudan and Somalia met on Monday prior to Tuesday's ministerial meeting.
Tuesday's forum is expected to focus on organizing a Turkish year in Arab countries and an Arab year in Turkey and developing projects to bring Turkish and Arab communities closer to each other.
