Iranian Industries and Mining Minister Ali Akbar Mehrabian and Turkish Industry and Trade Minister Nihat Ergun discussed ways to bolster the two countries' cooperation in Industrial fields, Fars reported.
The meeting mulled the formation of a special committee to establish a joint industrial zone between Turkey and Iran.
Last month, U.S. President Barack Obama met with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Washington. The meeting's main topic was Iran's nuclear program.
After the meeting, Obama said Turkey plays an important role in the issue of preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
