Despite any actions of Israel, Turkey will never cease support to the population of the Gaza Strip, and the country is proud of its support to the Palestinian people, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan was quoted as saying by CNN Turk.

"Israel confused Turkey with other countries, but this mistake can cost it a lot," Erdogan said at the Turkish parliament. "Attack on a civilian vehicle is an open terror."

Turkey would never allow anyone to try its patience and harm efforts to establish peace in the Middle East, he added.

"We are tired of your [Israel's] lies, enough to speculate anti-Semitism. It is time to tell the truth. Israel will never be able to wash its hands from blood. The Israeli actions against the international flotilla should definitely be punished," Erdogan said.

The Israeli Special Forces on the night from Sunday to Monday conducted the operation in the neutral waters to intercept Fleet Freedom of six vessels. At least 600 human rights activists, most of them Turkish citizens moved to a blocked Palestinian enclave with humanitarian goods. At the moment, the number of victims of the Israeli special operation hit 19 people, the world media reported. Israel confirmed the death of nine people, Ria Novosti reported.
