A Thomas Cook Airlines flight traveling from Stockholm to Antalya was struck by lightning today. The Airbus 330 was carrying 405 passengers. No one was hurt.
Passengers felt a strong push several minutes after takeoff.
Pilot Torben Anderson announced that lightning had struck the airplane, and decided to return to the Stockholm-Arlanda Airport.
The plane is expected to leave for Antalya in the next few hours.
