Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived Wednesday to the Finnish capital of Helsinki, Anadolu agency reported.
According to the agency, the prime minister is accompanied by state minister and chief negotiator with the EU Egemen Bagysh.
Finland, which is hosting a Turkish Prime Minister for the first time in 32 years, is one of the supporters of Turkey's EU accession.
Erdogan who will meet his Finnish counterpart Mari Kiviniemi will also meet the Finnish President and the Speaker of parliament, TRT reported.
Prime Minister Erdogan will proceed one day after the completion of his contacts in Finland to another EU country, Greece.
