Turkish Foreign Ministry on Thursday condemned suicide attack in Tikrit city of Iraq on Jan. 18.
The ministry said in a written statement, "many people died and hundreds of others were injured in a recent suicide attack in Tikrit. Turkey strongly condemns the suicide attack" and extended condolences to those who lost their lives, Xinhua reported.
The ministry also wished speedy recovery of those who were injured in the attack.
The ministry underlined the belief that Iraqi people would let down the efforts of the circles to incite instability in Iraq.
"Turkey will continue to extend support to Iraqi people aiming to restore lasting security and stability in Iraq. Turkey is ready to provide assistance to those injured in the attack," it said.
On Tuesday, at least 60 people were killed in Tikrit when a suicide bomber attacked a line of police recruits.
