The 10th International Defense Industry Fair will kick off at Istanbul's TUYAP convention center next Tuesday, the organizers of the event said Thursday, Xinhua reported.
Over 40 countries, including China and Turkey, and 575 Turkish and foreign defense companies are to take part in the international event, which will last through May 13.
Senior officials and military figures including defense ministers and top military generals are expected to attend the fair.
The fair is held every two years. This year's event is co- hosted by the Turkish Defense Ministry and the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation.
