Turkish, Iranian top diplomats discuss bilateral relations, Mideast

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi discussed bilateral relations as well as latest developments in the Middle East in a meeting on Tuesday in New York, sources close to the meeting said.

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi discussed bilateral relations as well as latest developments in the Middle East in a meeting on Tuesday in New York, sources close to the meeting said.

The foreign ministers also discussed the recent situation in Syria, AA reported.

Sources said Davutoglu and his Ukrainian counterpart Kostyantyn Gryshchenko discussed preparations regarding an upcoming meeting of the High Level Cooperation Council between the two countries.

Sources said in his meeting with Bosnian Foreign Minister Sven Alkalaj, Davutoglu and Alkalaj discussed latest developments in Balkans as well as in Bosnia Herzegovina.
