Annan's plan is the last chance for Bashar al-Assad to peacefully resolve the Syrian conflict. Al-Jazeera TV channel quotes Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu as saying at a conference of Friends of Syria Group on Sunday.
"I hope that our third conference will take place in a democratic Syria" - said Davutoglu.
The "Friends of Syria" has recognized the Syrian National Council (SNC) as the legitimate representative of the people of this country.
Istanbul is hosting the second meeting of foreign ministers of the Friends of Syria Group.
The conference is attended by representatives of 70 countries and international organizations. Russia and China refused to participate at the meeting of the Friends of Syria Group.
