Turkish deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag announced the date of presidential elections in Turkey.
According to the information, the presidential elections are scheduled for August 2014, the Zaman newspaper reported on Thursday.
Bozdag noted that elections for local governments are also scheduled for 2014. General parliamentary elections will be held in 2015.
