A group of terrorists from the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) set an elementary school on fire in a village in southeastern Turkey, destroying the school building, Todays Zaman reported.
The terrorists set fire to the Atatürk Elementary School in the village of Altınsu in Hakkari's Shemdinli district on Thursday night.
Security forces and firefighting teams were immediately called to the scene by villagers and the fire was contained. However, the school's walls collapsed in the blaze, leaving the building unfit for use.
