The "Kadimun Syria School" which would provide elementary and high school education to Syrian children living in Istanbul opened its doors on Sunday, Anadolu agency reported.
Made possible by Syrian businesspeople and philanthropists living in Turkey, the school will provide education parallel to the curriculum in Syria.
Turkish will be taught at the school as a second language.
The school has a capacity for 360 students.
