Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan held separate phone conversations with the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas leader Khaled Mashal and received information on Palestinian talks for a consensus, Anadolu reported.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan held separate phone conversations with the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas leader Khaled Mashal and received information on Palestinian talks for a consensus, Anadolu reported.

According to Turkish Prime Ministry sources, Abbas provided information to Erdogan on the talks held among Palestinian groups in Cairo recently.

Abbas informed Prime MinisterErdogan that he wished to talk with him face to face in the shortest time possible.

On the other hand, Khaled Mashal phoned Erdogan on Tuesday night and provided information on talks for consensus between the Fatah movement and Hamas.

Prime Minister Erdogan expressed his pleasure over seeing positive talks between Palestinian groups and reminded that Turkey attached high importance to a consensus between Palestinians.
