Turkish Foreign Ministry demanded an explanation from the Kuwaiti embassy regarding the beating of a Turkish pilot Hakan Karakush by Kuwaiti diplomats, Turkey's Haber 7 TV channel reported on Sept.12.
The diplomats that participated in the incident were summoned to Turkey's Foreign Ministry.
Turkish military pilot got beaten by Kuwaiti diplomats in Turkey's Ankara on Sept.11.
Allegedly, the incident occurred on the street, when pilot Hakan Karakush asked the diplomats to make way for him. Verbal confrontation quickly turned into a brawl.
The military attache of the Kuwaiti embassy in Ankara was also among the people who beat the pilot.
Karakush was seriously injured as a result of the incident.
The fact is under investigation.
