One soldier was killed and three others were wounded in an attack perpetrated by the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır on Sunday, Todays Zaman reported.
According to the Dogan news agency, PKK fired automatic rifles at soldiers who were providing security for a hydroelectric power plant situated on the Kulp-Mush highway.
One soldier was killed and three others were injured during the attack. The wounded soldiers were taken to nearby hospitals.
Reinforcements were dispatched to the area to search for the terrorists who had fled the scene.
