An emergency meeting headed by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has started in Ankara, Turkey, Hurriyet newspaper reported.

According to the newspaper, the news of the terrorist attack in the city of Yuksekova caused the return of the Prime Minister from Konya, where he was watching the football match between Turkey and the Netherlands national football teams.

Deputy Prime Ministers Numan Kurtulmush, Togrul Turkesh and Cevdet Yilmaz, as well as the Chief of Turkish General Staff Hulusi Akar, the Minister of Internal Affairs Selami Altinok and the Gendarmerie General Commander Galip Mendi are taking part in the meeting.

Earlier, the attack occured in Yuksekova city of Turkish Hakkari province. PKK group members blasted 2 armored car. The special operation after the blast has been started. According to the media of Turkey there are several dead and injured people as a result of a shootout.
