Turkey's military attaché was summoned to Russia's Defense Ministry in connection with an incident involving the Russian bomber in Syria, the Ministry told reporters, according to RIA Novosti.
Earlier, on Nov. 24, a Russian Su-24 warplane crashed in Syria.
Russia's President Vladimir Putin said the aircraft was shot down by an "air-to-air" rocket launched from a Turkish F-16. He said the Su-24 fell on Syria's territory, four kilometers away from the country's border with Turkey.
