Turkey and Russia will be able to overcome the crisis in their relations, according to the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.
"Previously too, Russian Air Force violated the airspace of Turkey, but all the problems were solved through diplomatic means," Turkish news channel TRT Haber quoted Cavusoglu as saying Nov. 26.
Relations between Moscow and Ankara deteriorated after downing of a Russian Su-24 warplane by Turkish Air Force Nov. 24.
Previously, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Moscow's aggressive statements against Turkey, after the Su-24 incident, saddened Ankara.
He said Ankara and Moscow are strategic partners, but this doesn't mean that Russia can disrespect the principles of inviolability of Turkey's borders.
