Baku, Azerbaijan, Dec. 17

Ankara says it is still receiving Russia's gas in the pre-crisis mode.

Commenting on the issue, Turkey's energy and natural resources minister, Berat Albayrak, said Dec. 17 that there are no problems in the Russian gas supplies.

Russia, according to the two contracts signed with Turkey, is committed to deliver 20 billion cubic meters of gas to the country annually.

Relations between Ankara and Moscow have deteriorated significantly after Turkish Air Force downed a Russian Su-24 bomber on Nov. 24.

Albayrak noted that Turkey is the second largest energy market for Russia.

"We hope Russia will not stop gas supplies," he said.
