After the liberation of Syria’s Afrin from terrorists, various groups that were part of the Free Syrian Army were united in the “national army”, the Turkish media reported April 3.
Reportedly, currently, the local police, created previously by Turkey, strengthened security measures.
On Jan. 20, the Turkish Armed Forces, together with the Free Syrian Army, launched the Operation Olive Branch in Afrin, Syria.
