Leader of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) of Turkey Devlet Bahceli has proposed to hold early parliamentary and presidential elections in Turkey, Turkish media reported on April 17.
Bahceli said the early elections should be held on Aug. 26.
Under the current political situation in the region, the parliamentary election in Turkey cannot be delayed, according to Bahceli.
Presidential, parliamentary and municipal elections will be held in Turkey in 2019. The parliamentary and presidential elections are expected to be held on the same day in 2019.
