Head of the Turkish Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTUK) Ilhan Yerlikaya resigned, Trend reports referring to RTUK.
Reportedly, the reasons for the resignation are health issues and family circumstances. The Turkish president is expected to appoint a new person to this position soon.
Yerlikaya has held this position since November 2015.
Earlier, the head of the RTUK was appointed upon the decision of the Turkish prime minister.
