An earthquake of 3.2 magnitude occurred in Turkey’s north-eastern Erzurum province, Trend reports referring to the Turkish media.
Reportedly, the earthquake occurred at 07:54 (GMT+3). No victims and destruction were reported.
Earlier, a 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey's Malatya province.
The earthquake hit the province at 08:18 (GMT+3).
No victims or damages were reported. Tremors were also recorded in several other provinces of Turkey.
Turkey is located in the seismically active zone, and the country often suffers strong earthquakes, which often lead to casualties.
The strongest fluctuations of the Earth's crust in Turkey were recorded in 1999 in the Marmara Sea region. The magnitude of the tremors that time was 7.4 points and caused the death of more than 18,000 people.
