A new director general of the Turkish State Railways (TCDD) has been appointed, Trend reports Feb. 20 with reference to the Turkish media.
Ali Ihman Uygun, former assistant director general, has been appointed to this position.
The reason for the dismissal of former TCDD Director General Isa Apaydin has not been revealed.
TCDD operates under the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey.
