In February 2019, 60 construction companies were registered in Turkey, which is 6.72 percent more than the figure for the same month of 2018, Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) told Trend.
Some 50 IT service companies were registered in the country during the same period, which is 5.60 percent more than in February 2018.
"In February 2019, 17 consulting services companies were registered in Turkey, which is 1.90 percent more than the figure for the same month of 2018," according to TOBB.
It was noted that energy companies were shut down the most in Turkey in February 2019.
"Some 100 energy companies were shut down in Turkey in February 2019, which is 19 percent more than in February 2018," according to TOBB.
Also, 45 construction companies were closed in Turkey during this period, which is 8.64 percent more than in the same month of 2018.
In February 2019, 6,670 companies were registered in Turkey as a whole, which is 5.64 percent less than in February 2018.
The total capital of companies registered in Turkey in February amounted to 4.946 billion liras.
