Turkey reveals expenses on research work conducted in 2009-2018

In 2009-2018, Turkey allocated 7.2 billion Turkish liras for scientific research work, Trend reports referring to Turkish media.

According to reports, funds were provided for the research work carried out by Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK).

During the reported period, 14,500 research projects were carried out.

Turkey has increased the amount of research done, the reports say. In 2009, 4,900 research projects were carried out; in 2018, the number increased to 9,100.

Last year alone, 985.5 million Turkish liras were allocated to the research work.
