In June 2019, trade turnover between Turkey and Turkmenistan decreased by $5.598 million compared to June 2018, having amounted to $54.380 million, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Trade Ministry.
In the reporting period, Turkish exports to Turkmenistan amounted to $42.175 million, while imports from Turkmenistan equaled to $12.205 million.
The trade turnover between Turkey and Turkmenistan in the first half of 2019 decreased by $7.125 million compared to the same period in 2018 and amounted to $412.744 million.
In this period, Turkish exports to Turkmenistan amounted to $285.098 million, while imports from Turkmenistan reached only $127.646 million dollars.
In June 2019, Turkey's foreign trade turnover amounted to $26 billion.
Turkish exports fell by 14.3 percent in June 2019 compared to the same month last year and amounted to $11.8 billion, while imports decreased by 22.7 percent and amounted to $14.2 billion.
