The trade turnover between Turkey and Iraq decreased by $22.781 million in June 2019 compared to June 2018 and reached $661.817 million, Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend on Aug. 16.
"In June 2019, Turkey exported the goods worth $514.792 million to Iraq and imported the goods worth $147.025 million from Iraq," the ministry said.
In the first half of 2019, the trade turnover between Turkey and Iraq decreased by $269.398 million compared to the same period of 2018 and reached $4.463 million.
"In January-June 2019, Turkey exported the goods worth $4.117 billion to Iraq and imported the goods worth $346.439 million from Iraq," the ministry said.
Turkey's foreign trade turnover reached $26 billion in June 2019.
The export of the Turkish goods decreased by 14.3 percent and reached 11.8 billion in June compared to June 2018, while import decreased by 22.7 percent and reached $14.2 billion in June 2019 compared to June 2018.
