Turkey-China trade decreases by over nearly $650M

In June 2019, Turkey’s trade turnover with China decreased by $649.112 million compared to June 2018 and amounted to $1.455 billion, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Trade Ministry.

In June 2019, Turkey's exports to China amounted to $179.659 million, while imports from China reached $1.275 billion.

The trade turnover between Turkey and China in the first half of 2019 decreased by $3.356 billion compared to the same period in 2018 and amounted to $9.842 billion.

In January-June 2019, Turkey's exports to China amounted to $1.248 billion, while imports from China hit $8.594 billion.

In June 2019, Turkey's foreign trade turnover amounted to $26 billion.

Turkish exports fell by 14.3 percent in June 2019 compared to the same month last year and amounted to $11.8 billion, while imports decreased by 22.7 percent and amounted to $14.2 billion.
