Biggest share of Turkish exports to Israel accounts for steel in 9 months 2019

From January to September 2019, the biggest share of the export of the Turkish products to Israel accounted for steel, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend on Oct. 18.

The export of the Turkish steel to Israel increased by 15.53 percent from January to September 2019 compared to the same period of last year and reached $678.934 million.

The chemical products rank second in this list.

"The export of chemical products from January to September 2019 decreased by 4.66 compared to the same period of 2018 percent and reached $322.929 million," the ministry said.

The textile products rank third in the list of goods exported from Turkey to Israel.

"The export of the Turkish textiles to Israel from January to September 2019 increased by 8.71 percent compared to the same period of 2018 and reached $302.0910 million," the ministry.

The wood, paper and furniture rank fourth in the list of goods exported from Turkey to Israel. The supply of wood, paper and furniture increased by 22.11 percent and reached $211.767 million in the reporting period.

"The electrical goods rank fifth in this list,” the ministry said. “The export of electrical goods increased by 10.44 percent from January to September 2019 compared to the same period of 2018 and reached $192 million."

Cement ranks sixth in the list of goods exported from Turkey to Israel. The export of cement increased by 19.24 percent and reached $178 million.

"Various metals rank seventh in this list,” the ministry said. “The export of various metals grew by 4.16 percent and reached $139.089 million.”

Jewelry rank eighth in the list. The export of jewelry increased by 5.26 percent and reached $95.750 million.

"The raw materials and fabrics for the textile industry rank ninth in the list of goods exported from Turkey to Israel from January to September 2019,” the ministry said. “The export decreased by 18.76 percent and reached $58.873 million.”

“The carpets rank tenth in the list,” the ministry said. “The export of carpets grew by 12.93 percent and reached $23.589 million.”

The export of the Turkish goods to Israel increased by 13.51 percent from January to September compared to the same period of 2018 and reached $3.197 billion .

Turkey’s foreign trade turnover increased by 0.11 percent in September 2019 compared to September 2018 and reached $32.181 billion .

From January to September 2019, Turkey’s total trade turnover reached $286.419 billion.
