Cargo transshipment from Israel via Turkish ports in September 2019

In September 2019, the volume of cargo transshipment from Israel through ports of Turkey exceeded 10.7 million tons, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
The ministry noted that in September 2019, the volume of cargo transshipment from Israel by ships flying the Israeli flag amounted to 187,113 tons, while ships flying flags of other countries carried over 9.2 million tons of cargo.
Transshipment of cargo from Israel in September 2019 by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to over 1.3 million tons.
Moreover, in September 2019, 752,244 tons of cargo were shipped from Israel in transit through ports of Turkey.
In September 2019, 260.1 million tons of cargo were transshipped in Turkish ports as a whole.
Over the mentioned period, vessels flying the Turkish flag transshipped 21.0 million tons of cargo, while vessels flying the flag of their country – 12.1 million tons, and the vessels flying the flag of other countries – 226.9 million tons of cargo.
