From January through September 2019, 39 companies with Turkmen capital were registered in Turkey, which is four companies more compared to the same period last year, Trend reports referring to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
The total capital of Turkmen companies registered in Turkey in the first nine months of 2019 amounted to slightly over six million Turkish liras ($1.05 million), while in the same period of 2018, this figure was 5.2 million Turkish liras ($900,616).
From January through September 2019, most of the Turkmen companies were registered in Istanbul (35), with a total capital of 4.9 million Turkish liras ($854,435).
During this period, two Turkmen companies with total capital of of 84,000 Turkish liras ($14,529) were registered in Antalya province.
In the period of January-September 2019, three industrial, two construction, 22 wholesale and retail companies and two tourism companies with Turkmen capital were registered in Turkey.
The remaining companies with Turkmen capital are involved in other sectors of the economy.
The total capital of 22 wholesale and retail companies registered during the reported period amounted to 4.2 million liras ($727,653).
