Syria’s territorial integrity is a priority for Turkey, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said, Trend reports on Oct. 25.
The Turkish foreign minister said that the military operation Peace Spring is directed against terrorists in northern Syria.
Cavusoglu added that Turkey stands firmly in the fight against terror.
On Oct. 9, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the beginning of a new military operation in Syria, called Peace Spring.
On Oct. 17, Ankara agreed with Washington to suspend the Operation Peace Spring in Syria's north for 120 hours, so that during this time the YPG/PYD detachments would leave northern Syria.
Time allotted for the cessation of hostilities during the Operation Peace Spring in northern Syria expired at 12:00 (GMT+3) on Oct. 23
