In September 2019, 45,359 tourists from Kazakhstan visited Turkey, which is 8.86 percent more compared to September in 2018, Trend reports referring to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey.
The share of Kazakhstan citizens in the total number of foreigners who visited Turkey in September 2019 amounted to 0.84 percent.
The ministry noted that from January through September 2019, 396,306 tourists from Kazakhstan visited Turkey, which is 4.49 percent more compared to the same period in 2018.
The share of Kazakhstan citizens in the total number of foreigners visiting Turkey in the first nine months of 2019 amounted to 1.09 percent.
Over 5.4 million tourists visited Turkey in September 2019, which is 13.23 percent more compared to September 2018.
During the reporting period, over 2.2 million people visited Antalya, while over 1.4 million tourists visited Istanbul.
From January through September 2019, over 36.4 million tourists visited Turkey, which is 14.50 percent more compared to the same period of 2018.
