In September 2019, 218,451 tourists from Ukraine visited Turkey, which is 17.07 percent more compared to September 2018, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The share of Ukrainian citizens in the total number of foreigners who visited Turkey in September 2019 amounted to 4.03 percent.
From January through September 2019, over 1.3 million Ukrainian tourists visited Turkey, which is 11.6 percent more compared to the same period in 2018.
The share of Ukrainian citizens in the total number of foreigners who visited Turkey in the first nine months of 2019 amounted to 3.6 percent.
Over 5.4 million tourists visited Turkey in September 2019, which is 13.2 percent more compared to September 2018.
During the reporting period, over 2.2 million people visited Antalya, while over 1.4 million tourists visited Istanbul.
From January through September 2019, over 36.4 million tourists visited Turkey, which is 14.5 percent more compared to the same period of 2018.
