From January through October 2019, Turkey exported furniture and wood worth $100.9 million to Azerbaijan, which is 1.7 percent more compared to the same period in 2018, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Ministry of Trade Nov. 20.
In October 2019, exports of furniture and wood from Turkey to Azerbaijan grew by 7.4 percent compared to October 2018, amounting to $12.1 million.
The ministry also noted that in the first ten months of 2019, Turkey exported furniture and wood worth $4.4 billion to world markets, which is 10.1 percent more compared to the same period in 2018.
“In October this year, Turkey exported furniture and wood worth $491.7 million to world markets, which is 11.8 percent less compared to October 2018,” the ministry said.
Turkey’s export grew by 1.6 percent and reached $137 billion from January through October 2019 compared to the same period of 2018.
Meanwhile, the country's export decreased by 0.3 percent and reached $15.2 billion in October 2019 compared to October 2018.
